MacOSX, VMWare Fusion and PKR… it works!

| with the new VMWare Fusion 1.1 PKR works on my MacPro if I run it in ‘min spec’ mode (launch it from the start menu). It runs fairly well on my 3.0GHz Mac Pro. I only give one core to VMWare. I didn’t stay for long because to be honest I’ve gone off poker. It even runs in Unity mode so it’s doesn’t look quite so windows and crap. More for screenshot! |
Congrats to the VMWare guys and I guess congrats to the PKR Guys, maybe they should be offering cash players free copies of VMWare fusion.

Hi just started with PKR on my iMac and MBP and I am having some issues.
Firstly on the iMac 2.0ghz 2gbram radeonx1600 vram256mb. there is a lot of display distortion [only at the tables] and eventually the picture breaks up completely.
It seems to come and go but lets say its 60% of the time.
PKR support said update the x1600 drivers, but I cant find the update at apple or ATI.
and secondly on the MBP 2.2ghz 2gbram GeForce 8600M GT:vram128mb.
no probs with the display, but as soon as I log in the fans spin up bigtime and the cpu usage goes to almost 100% and both the gpu and the cpu temp go extremely high [above 170f]
I would be extremely grateful if you could help me out here, as i waited a good while for PKR to include Mac and would like to play there without these issues.
Many thanks in advance A.
