How do you play pkr on you mac, is a qeustion a lot of people ask me trough the contact form. So i gonna explain in this article how you can play poker on you apple mac.

1. Click  on the banner at the top of this page or here
2. Then click on the download button on the landing page
3. Then you have to download pkr by click on the download now and select mac version
4. After the download is finnished run the installer
5. Onscreen instructions will guide you through the installation process
6. After installation you will see “PKR Poker” added to your applications list, ready to be dragged to your dock should you wish

Our friends of absolute poker are the only poker room that makes apple users happy. Absolute just released the latest version of there “no download” Poker client Its supports Apple iphone soon but after speakin to a release manager i got the idea that they were workin on a ipad cleint also.

That’s great news! Finaly a room workin on a ipad poker client, but for now its only a beta (under cunstuction) version. When the officieel release of this ipad client will be we don’t know but we will let you know as soon as its released maybe sooner!

We at macpkr always lookin for some apple news arround, so thats why we asked to pokerstars: Will there be a ipad in your storé’s soon?

Pokerstars respond:

Our vendor does not have the iPad in stock yet as only the Apple
Stores have them. We will most likely offer them at the VIP store as
soon as our vendor receives enough stock of them.

As for the iPhones, we are not planning to add them at the VIP store
as there are companies in the US that are offering them as part of
their telephone plan, and we cannot compete with those prices.

Good news: In the first few days since the release for the i-pad there are 300.000 time sold.  But the bad news we found nobody who was able to play poker on the ipad. There are 2 reason why thats not possible now.

1. You have to download a app with the app store and none are av. now. 2. The ipad STILL does not support flash.
